Terms and Conditions

1. Applicability

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders via our website's online shop ctn.academy.

2. Contractual partner, customer service

The contractual partner for all orders - that means, for example, when participating in an online course as well as in paid webinars - is Chen-Stil Taijiquan Netzwerk Deutschland Berberich Ranné GbR, Forststraße 51a, 70176 Stuttgart, Deutschland, Website: http://www.ctnd.de. More information about us can be found in the imprint. You can reach our customer service for questions and complaints under support [at] ctnd.de.

3. Code of Conduct

We are set on putting into practice the Trusted Shops code of conduct. This is the respective URL:

https://www.trustedshops.com/tsdocument/TS_QUALITY_CRITERIA_de.pdf

4. Conclusion of a contract

When the products are placed in the online shop, we are submitting a binding offer to conclude a contract for these items. The contract is concluded when you book and use the order or booking button to accept the offer for the respective online courses or online subscriptions. After submitting the order, you will receive another confirmation by email. The condition for the effective conclusion of a contract is always that the order process has been completed.

5. Due date

For most courses only a one-off course fee is payable. The agreed course fee is due with the purchase of the course. In the case of recurring payments, the first agreed course fee is also due with the purchase of the respective course. The monthly course fees are then collected on the date on which the course was purchased (for example: purchase on October 11th - due date for course fees on the 11th of each month; purchase on January 1st - due date for course fees on the first calendar day of the month). For paid webinars, the course price is due when you register for the webinar. We reserve the right to cancel offered webinars for organizational reasons. If the webinar does not take place, the course price will be refunded accordingly.

6. Payment

Payment is made in advance, via Stripe (credit card, direct debit etc), Mollie or PayPal. We offer subscriptions, offline classes and live classes and the payment details may differ somewhat.

7. Termination

It is not necessary to cancel individual purchases with the exception of private classes. For all other courses a one-time fee is paid for participation in the course. These courses have a fixed duration, which you can find in the product descriptions. For private classes you need to cancel the class at least 24hrs before the private class is due, otherwise we cannot refund the class due to short notice. In case you have a subscription this can be cancelled anytime - please check if the subscription details state otherwise.

8. Unilateral Termination

We reserve our right to cancel and terminate every contract hereunder at any time and without giving any reasons or cause. All paid fees will be repaid immediately in this case.

9. Observance and protection of copyrights and trademarks

Documents (like graphs, scripts, audio files, podcasts, video files, etc.) published as part of a course or made available via the internet are protected by copyright. Brands and logos listed on the documents are also protected by copyright. Each participant is obliged to use the documents and files accessible to her or him only in the framework expressly permitted here. It is not allowed to make individual recordings of online sessions or to spread online documents. It is not allowed to promote unauthorized use by third parties. This also applies after participation has ended. The files and documents may only be accessed and printed out by course participants and only for their own training. It is not permitted to download video files and recordings of classes unless explicitly allowed! Video files can usually only be accessed through this site, but some documents might be explicitly downloadable. The downloading and printing of files (not videos) is only permitted within this framework - in this respect, each participant may have the printing carried out with the technical support of third parties (e.g. a copy shop). In addition, all rights of use to the files and documents are reserved. Therefore, making copies of files or printouts for third parties, forwarding or forwarding files to third parties or other use for purposes other than one's own study, whether for a fee or free of charge, even after completion of the course, requires the express prior written consent of the Chen-Stil Taijquan Netzwerk Deutschland. Forms of use that are permitted due to mandatory statutory provisions are of course excluded from this reservation of consent.

If a session is being recorded the host will let you know in advance. If you don't want to appear in the recording you can always switch out your camera. If you leave it on and also actively participate in the session (e.g. asking questions and such) please be aware that the recording might be available to all course participants after the session. You cede the right to us making the recording available in such a way. We will, however, do the best in our abilities to delete all parts of the recording intended for later public use which you want us to delete if you feel your rights might otherwise be compromised. The intention of our recordings is only to make the course contents available for self learning and repetition to enable a faster and more successful learning process.

10. Confidentiality of the access data

Every participant is obliged to keep their special access data (user name and password) for their individual use only secret and not to pass them on to third parties. At the participant's request, the access data will be deleted at any time or replaced with another code.

11. Own provision of suitable IT infrastructure and software

All participants are responsible for providing internet access (hardware, telecommunications connections, etc.) as well as for other technical equipment and all software required for using our online services (e.g. web browser, Acrobat Reader® etc.) themselves and at their own expense responsibility and at their own risks.

12. Changes to the conditions of participation

We reserve ourselves the right to change these conditions by deletion, replacement or addition. In any such case we will notify our participants of the change in our conditions. Every participant has the right to express themselves within a period of fourteen days from receipt of the notice whether they agree to the changed conditions. If we do not receive a declaration within that period of time, consent to the changed conditions is deemed to have been given.
