Description

Mondays: from 11th january to 1st of march (8x)
In this class you will learn easy but profound Qigong exercises helping to calm the mind and get a feeling for the inner organization of the body. The principles of Qigong are also inherent in movements of the Chen-Taijiquan. It can be helpful to practice these principles in isolated exercises apart from the complexity of the Taijiform. For this reason, qigong exercises like the standing pillars were practiced in order to support the training of the Taijiquan. These are principles of Yin and Yang like rising-sinking, opening-closing, fullness-emptiness, stillness-movement, etc.
Further we will work on the basic structure of the Taijibody:  Feet, knee, pelvis, lower back, spine, head. The “inner” work of the 3 connections will help to align the body from within and build a strong basis for a healthy movement. All this will be integrated into different movements of the circling hands.

At the end we practice 15 minutes of meditaion (fangsong gong, small heavenly cycle, ...)
